There are creatures made of weight, and others made of wish.

This one belongs to the second kind. She moves without sound, without shadow,not because she is invisible but because she is barely earthbound.

Colors bloom where her hooves touch the world, petals scatter behind her wings, as if she’s brushing against the edge of what we call real.

“Tenuitas” is the word the ancients used to name the things you could feel but not hold, see but never quite describe.

She carries that word in every step in the shimmer of her body, in the breath of her flight, in the feeling she leaves behind:

That something fragile just passed through you.

And maybe, for a second, you remembered what it’s like to be light enough to lift.

 
Style

Deep into your soul

Her works delve deep into your soul. I fell in love with her paintings at first sight and decided to commission a painting from her depicting 3 elephants: mother, father, and child. My first purchase, which was also the first post I saw from Chiara. What caught my eye was her ability to bend colors to show the lights of a city streets and traffic waving during a rain shower. I was hooked on her style.
