Water is Chiara's favorite element and rain is obviously part of it. The dreamy feeling you get when you are in the car or behind a window and it's raining outside.

Everything stops, everything becomes indefinite and only the strongest lights are seen. Rain sometimes also has the power to wash away our thoughts.

This painting, as well as its twin, is based on photographs taken by Chiara and is very rich in texture. This painting has been displayed at Chiara’s Solo Show in 2021 at the Fondazione Majid, Ascona, Switzerland.

"Bright Expressionism" is a new style of painting developed by Italian artist Chiara Magni which combines elements of Impressionism and Expressionism, characterized by its vibrant and intense use of color.
