On a spring night, under a starry sky, nature offers us purple irises that, with their beauty and fragrance, once again make us understand how beautiful and powerful nature is. The iris is a symbol of trust, sincerity, and wisdom. It is the triumph of truth and is associated with conveying a positive message.

Its name comes from Greek and evokes the rainbow and mythology. Since ancient times, it has been used as an ornamental and medicinal plant, as well as for making perfumes.

Legends related to the iris date back to ancient Greek mythology when the goddess Iris, the messenger of the gods and the personification of the rainbow, served as a link between heaven and earth for communication between humanity and Olympus, with particular reference to the god Zeus and the goddess Hera.

The Egyptians attributed almost magical virtues to the iris, and depictions of these flowers are often found among archaeological artifacts. Despite being a night scene, we see the grass and flowers brightly illuminated by an external light source, always emphasizing the importance of the energy that is ever-present in nature.

"Bright Expressionism" is a new style of painting developed by Italian artist Chiara Magni which combines elements of Impressionism and Expressionism, characterized by its vibrant and intense use of color. This style is distinct in its imaginative and emotional approach, aiming to convey joy and vivacity. Bright Expressionism deviates from traditional color rules, creating imaginative scenes that evoke feelings of freedom and playfulness.
